  • 8 Life Lessons I Would Tell My Younger Self that I Actually Need to Hear Now
    Mar 25 2015

Sometimes in life we get a little stunted as we age. Whether at 35, 55 or 75, we need reminders of the small lessons we know that keep us focused on moving forward and into the place that God wants us.

In today’s episode, Quinn discusses some important things she would tell the younger version of herself. These important lessons include the understanding that:

    1. One small step at a time will change your life.

    2. Don’t strive for what others have, focus on where God is calling you.

    3. Pain is a part of life. Don’t let it stop you.

    4. Humility and accountability will change every relationship.

    Mind Renewal Tip:

If we take time to apply the life lessons we’ve learned continually, we will not only get older but truly wiser with joy mixed into that reality.

    Scripture Renewal Tip:

For God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

    1. Staying rooted in Christ

    2. Setting boundaries

    3. Forgiving ourselves and others

    Mind Renewal Tip:

  • How to Lovingly Disagree Like Jesus In a Culture that Loves to Fight Loudly
    Oct 7 2025

In today’s society, disagreeing is a part of culture. But sometimes disagreements among believers or with non-believers seem to take on a tone or style that doesn’t align with Jesus. This leaves believers in a position where they must learn how to disagree in a way that honors Jesus while also being able to be honest with their convictions.

In today’s episode, Quinn teaches listeners how to model their disagreements after Jesus by:

    1. Examining the tones that Jesus used in fights

    2. Looking at the people he disagreed with and understanding why

    3. Teaching steps to follow when modelling our behavior after him

    Scripture Renewal Tip:

Get behind me, Satan! You do not have in mind the concerns of God but merely human concerns!

    Mind Renewal Tip:

When we disagree with others, we need to be mindful that our words and actions reveal Jesus is alive and active within us!
