Today, we speak with Dr. Sarah Sletten, an associate professor in the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences Department of Biomedical Sciences and the School's Director of Learner Research. In this capacity, Sletten manages the School’s Research Experience for Medical Students – or REMS – program. Dr. Sletten sat down with Dakota Health recently to talk active learning, STEM education, and the value-add of research experiences for medical students.
