    In this special episode we are joined by Annual Management Lecture speaker Tushar Hazra, Founder and CTO of EpitomiOne, along with Prof. Vadim Grinevich, Professor of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Innovation.

    Hosted by Prof. David Spicer the conversation focuses on the same themes of the Annual Management Lecture, Innovation with Love. Tushar and Vadim explore how SMEs can generate sustainable innovation and bring real world examples from both their professional and personal lives to the forefront of the conversation.

    Tushar explores one of his key concepts for sustainable innovation, the 3 C's - Curiosity, Creativity, Clarity - in this conversation and how they are instrumental to generating sustainable innovations. Tushar, an alumnus of the University of Bradford, also explores how his time at the university was pivotal to his career with support from passionate mentors.

    Tushar is the founder and CTO of EpitomiOne, a strategic business and IT management advisory consultancy and has worked in senior technology roles across major organiations including GE, Lockheed Martin, MetLife, and CSC. He holds over 30 years' experience in leading innovation and technology, is an adjunct faculty member at Johns Hopkins University and an alumnus of the University, where he completed both an MSc and a PhD in Computer Science and Control Engineering.

    Prof. Vadim Grinevich is professor of entrepreneurship and small business innovation holding expertise in entrepreneurship, innovation and links between university and industry. His research develops inclusive approaches across industries, disciplines and different types of universities as well as digital enabled sustainable entrepreneurship.

    In this episode of the Responsible Management podcast Prof. David Spicer is joined by Dr Rachel Shrimpton, MBA Director, and Tim Gambrill, Founder of Mighty Atoms.

    The conversation explores the importance of companies, regardless of their size or sector, understanding the what and why of their marketing efforts. Tim and Rachel bring their expertise together to explain why companies need to bring focus to understanding what they are aiming to achieve through their marketing strategies, allowing them to generate impactful campaigns.

    The conversation also explores the tools and resources available to support a company in understanding their marketing efforts as well as real-life examples of how companies and individuals have recognised their potential and successfully implemented new strategies to support growth and generate impact.

    Tim Gambrill is the founder and Chief Marketing Officer at Mighty Atoms, an innovative marketing support agency. Tim has considerable experience in blue-chip businesses such as Sara Lee, Pepsi, Starbucks, Pizza Express, and Virgin Money and is highly experience in delivering sales and marketing programmes for high-potential businesses irrespective of size or sector.

    Dr Rachel Shrimpton is an Assistant Professor in Marketing and the Director of the MBA programmes here at Bradford. Before joining the University, Rachel spent nearly a decade working as a marketing consultant for leading digital agencies in the UK and Canada. Her research and teaching interests centre on digital marketing, consumer behaviour, and the role of conversational artificial intelligence in shaping user relationships and experiences.

    In our latest episode of the Responsible Management podcast Prof. David Spicer hosts Prof. Yvonne Moogan, the Director for the University of Bradford, School of Management.

    The conversation introduces our new Director as she has the opportunity to explore what responsible management means to her and the challenges and opportunities for modern business. Focus explores key themes of modern business such as AI and Sustainability whilst also bringing a wider view onto staying ahead of the curve.

    During the episode Yvonne also discusses her vision for the School of Management and the importance of holding responsible management at the core of our offering. The conversation ties together how as a University we can do the best for both our students and wider communities, including our business networks, by continuously adapting and learning.

    Professor Yvonne Moogan is the new Director of the School of Management here at the University. She joined six months ago having previously led Hull Business School and before this led online education and apprenticeships at Leeds University Business School and the MBA at the University of Salford. She’s a highly engaged academic with over 30 years’ experience of HE leadership as well as a background and research interest in marketing and leadership.
