SpaceCamp follows a group of teenage space camp attendees who unexpectedly find themselves launched into space after a robot malfunction triggers a shuttle ignition. Suddenly forced into a real-life NASA emergency, the young crew must work together, think fast, and rely on their training if they want to make it home safely.

It’s a movie fueled by 80’s optimism, NASA fandom, and the belief that kids could do anything—even command a space shuttle.

Set in a futuristic, militaristic society where citizenship is earned through federal service, Starship Troopers follows Johnny Rico, a young man who joins the Mobile Infantry to follow his girlfriend and serve the Federation. What starts as an almost glossy, soap-opera teen drama quickly escalates into all-out interplanetary war as humanity fights giant alien insects known as Arachnids.

The film blends intense action, dark humor, and heavy satire. It intentionally mimics wartime propaganda reels, making viewers question whether they're cheering for the "good guys"… or being recruited themselves.

Virus was released in January 1999, directed by John Bruno — a longtime visual effects artist who worked on The Abyss, True Lies, and Terminator 2.

The movie follows a salvage crew led by Captain Everton (Donald Sutherland) and Chief Engineer Kelly Foster (Jamie Lee Curtis). While stranded at sea during a typhoon, they discover a seemingly abandoned Russian research vessel. But as they soon learn, the ship isn’t empty — it’s been taken over by an alien energy force transmitted through space that turns machinery and human flesh into horrific hybrid cyborgs.

From there, it’s a battle for survival as the crew tries to destroy the alien intelligence before becoming part of its mechanical army.

It’s basically The Thing meets Terminator — set on a ghost ship.
