Revelation Series:

Revelation 13 and 14 reveal Satan's final attempt to counterfeit God's authority and deceive the world. The dragon (Satan) empowers the beast (Antichrist) to rule the earth, gaining global worship through blasphemy, false miracles, and a counterfeit resurrection. The second beast acts as his prophet, enforcing idolatry through an image of the Antichrist and requiring all people to receive a mark on their hand or forehead—an imitation of God's seal on His followers—connecting worship with economic control. In contrast, the 144,000 sealed servants of God are shown pure, faithful, and redeemed in heaven, representing the firstfruits of the harvest. During the tribulation, angels proclaim a final gospel urging all to fear and worship God, warning that those who take the mark will face eternal wrath. Despite immense persecution, believers are called to endure faithfully, even unto death, which God counts as blessed. The chapter concludes with the harvest of the earth—Jesus gathers the righteous while the wicked are cast into the winepress of God's wrath—marking the ultimate separation between those who belong to Christ and those who follow the beast.
