  • Rob Grant, writer/director of the excellent 2019 dark comedy/thriller Harpoon, joins us to talk about his career origins, the movies that most influenced him, and his one and only foray into work-for-hire filmmaking.


    Along the way, we talk about the experience of being at the mercy of indie film festivals, how modern audiences' attention spans are dwindling, and the lasting damage that the book Save the Cat has done to Hollywood.
