Today we’re going to take a deep dive into the Mérito Mindset pillar - Mature. Initially one might associate professional maturity with being polite, diplomatic, and well-spoken but there is more to professional maturity than just acting professionally. Others would say that professional maturity is associated with professional experience that is gained over the years. You can be polite and well-spoken but lack depth of knowledge and understanding simply because you have not encountered certain situations. Ish and Raquel will explore three aspects of professional maturity 1) adaptability 2)accepting constructive criticism and 3) conducting a self-assessment of what worked and what didn’t work, mainly using hindsight to serve as a guide. Keeping in mind that there are many other factors that can also contribute to professional maturity but today’s podcast will focus on these three facets.
