  • Season 5, Episode 36: Interview with Lynda Boyd (Nora Carpenter) from “Final Destination 2” (2003)
    Jun 27 2025

What a treat! To sit down with Lynda Boyd and get the inside scoop about her character and to acquire the behind-the-scenes details about her elevator death scene and her on on-screen son’s death scene.

At the end of the interview, Lynda provides a great public service announcement: always, always check your floorboards for water bottles and never, ever chase pigeons near construction equipment.

  • Season 5, Episode 35: Interview with Jonathan Faircloth Kirk (Paris Winter) from “Don’t Peek” (2025)
    Jun 22 2025

With remarkable special effects and a genuinely scary creature, the film effectively utilizes the found footage format to build suspense and create a sense of realism. The acting is generally considered solid, with the actors effectively conveying the terror and unease of the situation.

Overall, pretty great movie which I think will augment the found-footage sub-genre of horror. However, this movie is not for the squeamish or light-hearted and may trigger some pretty intense emotions.

  • Season 5, Episode 34: Interview with Danielle Perry (Marjorie Glick) from “Salem’s Lot” (2024) 'The Morgue, The Merrier'
    Jun 18 2025

It’s very hard to re-imagine the works of Stephen King, especially a movie that is loved by so many. When new adaptations are created, the fans of the original may get skeptical about how it’s going to be. However, I must admit that I enjoyed this version of Salem’s Lot, not only due to the fact that it originated from the Stephen King library, but the actors brought the past and the characters back to life.

I sat down with Danielle Perry who portrayed Marjorie Glick in the film; a name that we will recognize in the Stephen King universe and amongst others. In my opinion, Marjorie is a pivotal character. Danielle Perry delivered us that role flawlessly and I mean it.

We spoke about her character’s transition into a vampire and what she had to do in order to prepare herself for her role. We also spoke about the infamous morgue scene – which happens to be one of the scariest sequences. I cannot imagine what was going through the other actors’ minds at the time, but it has to be one of my favorite scenes.

If you have not seen this film yet, I highly recommend and encourage you to do so. It’s still streaming on Hulu and Max. And it’s something you can definitely sink your fangs into.
