  • Season 5, Episode 53: Interview with Brandi Botkin (Nurse Julie Greer) from “Never Blink” (2025) You Blink, You Die…
    Aug 14 2025

Movie Synopsis: Five medical students uncover a way to record what the human eye misses during a blink – and what they discover is beyond terrifying. From a psychological standpoint, what I love about this movie is that it presents “The String Theory” the notion of parallel reality and it makes us wonder what lies beyond the boundaries of our known reality.

I sat down with Brandi to gain priceless insight about the movie and her character. For those that have not seen this movie, I highly recommend it; it’s sort of a crossover of Nightmare on Elm Street and Stranger Things. With that being said, I thoroughly enjoyed this film.

You can catch Brandi in her other roles in the movies: Bystanders, Wicked Ones, Bag of Lies, and Mutilator 2. Brandi is also starring in another movie called “The Color of Darkness” which is in post-production.

  • Season 5, Episode 52: Interview with Amy Rutledege (Kim Fadden) from "The Death of April" (2022)
    Aug 11 2025

Movie Synopsis: Meagan Mullen, freshly moved in her new home, keeps in touch with her friends and family through a video blog. As her entries (and her life) become more complex and emotional, strange things begin to happen in her room: and the camera captures all of it. Told primarily from the point of view of an ordinary wireless webcam, The Death of April documents the unsettling activity in an otherwise average girl's bedroom - and the mysteries that surround it.

I had the honor and pleasure of speaking to Amy regarding her role and the movie along with the concept behind the film. We had also talked about the importance of mental health and how it is incorporated with the horror genre.

  • Season 5, Episode 51: Interview with Michele Dawson (Nurse Deb) from “Halloween Ends” (2022)
    Aug 8 2025

Halloween Ends, set four years after the events of the second film of the relaunched Halloween and its final chapter of Michael Meyers. But there is Nurse Deb, one of my favorite characters in the movie. Do not be fooled by her impertinence. She is already one step ahead of you.

What an honor and absolute pleasure it was to speak to Michele about her role as Nurse Deb, such priceless insights! From what we spoke about, I can tell that she is very passionate about being an actress and what better way to end the franchise by being killed off by one of the most iconic slashers in horror history.

With that being said, I have to know what actually happens to the franchise. In the film, Laurie says, "I've said goodbye to my boogeyman, but the truth is, evil doesn't die. It changes shape" – this acknowledges the end of Michael's physical presence but introduces the idea that evil can take on new forms and persist. Do you believe that this is truly the end of Michael Myers and the Halloween Franchise?

What do you think? Is this the end of Michael Myers and the franchise? Will evil take a new shape?
