  • 9.14.2025 "Who's Next: To Disciple?"
    Sep 14 2025

In Jesus' departing words to His disciples (in Matthew 28) - He shares with them the vision for the expansion of the Kingdom of God. "Go and make disciples..."

And the disciples carried forward this mission of Jesus into the world, to the next generation, until it reached even us!

But...what is a disciple? What does it mean to "make" a disciple? Is God still using "discipleship" today?

In this sermon, Pastor Kevin invites listeners to consider who God may be calling them to - to walk in the Christian faith. God has always called His people into community. You weren't not meant to walk alone!

As you listen - consider: "Who's next to disciple?"

  • 8.31.2025 "Summary of Acts"
    Aug 31 2025

The book of Acts is the origin story of the church. If you call yourself a Christian - this is YOUR story. And the story continues.

The "Acts" that the book references are really the "Acts of the Holy Spirit." This member of the Trinity empowered, guided, and directed the movement of Jesus during the 1st Century. He still empowers our mission today.

In this sermon, Pastor Kevin shares about the Holy Spirit (who is called "breath" and "wind" in the Bible). What does that mean for us today?

Listen and consider how God is moving you by His Spirit - to continue the story of Acts.

  • 8.24.2025 "Acts 28"
    Aug 24 2025

    Jesus is oppositional.

There's no whitewashing about it. The message that He came to preach cut against the old religious system. It cut against the culture of His Jewish contemporaries. It cut against the rich + the poor. No one was safe.

And neither are we. As C.S. Lewis put it so well in his Chronicles of Narnia series - referring to Azlan (the character representing Jesus): "Safe? Who said anything about safe? Of course He isn't safe! But...He's good."

In this sermon - Pastor Kevin considers the "oppositional" nature of the Gospel and of Christianity (this "sect that everywhere is spoken against" - Acts 28:22). Listen and consider how the Gospel is opposing you! And how to find the "life" that it promises, underneath it all.
