One of the most famous alleged alien abductions occurred on November 5, 1975, in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest in Arizona. Travis Walton, a logger and member of a seven-man crew, disappeared after all members of the crew witnessed a bright, saucer-shaped object hovering over their location.
