Upon their arrival in Rivendell, Earelda joins her foster father, Elrond, who helps her understand the message of Elbereth. Arwen gives her aid, sharing a song sung by their ancester, Luthien Tinuviel, when she called upon the Valar. With that, and a mysterious voice ringing in their ears, Earelda and Dinfea depart for Lothlorien.
