Good morning! I'm Aaron Jolly. Welcome to the New Hampshire Weather Podcast for Thursday, February 26th. That overnight dusting? Already done. Step outside around 7 A.M. And the skies are crystal clear.. But the air bites. Feels like the high teens across the state. Your nose will know immediately. Folks, today is gorgeous. Wall to wall sunshine. Highs climb into the mid 30s by midday with west winds gusting to 25 miles an hour. Enough breeze to remind you it's February, but honestly? Get outside. This is the kind of day that recharges your batteries. Tonight the temperature falls off a cliff. Southern New Hampshire drops to 11 degrees. Push up toward Concord and the central valleys, you're at 9. The White Mountains bottom out near 6 degrees. Clear skies mean zero cloud cover to trap warmth. That cold just pours in. Friday's a repeat of today. Sunshine, highs near 39 degrees. Savor it. Now the week ahead tells a story. Saturday is the warm act. Highs pushing 48 degrees under partly sunny skies. Almost feels like a tease. Then Sunday rewrites everything. A cold front barrels through with a chance of light snow between 7 A.M. And 1 P.M. Highs barely crack the low 30s. Sunday night turns vicious. Lows plunge to single digits statewide. The mountains could dip to minU S Two. Wind chills well below zero. Monday stays locked in the deep freeze. Highs only in the low 20s. Tuesday warms slightly to the low 30s with a possible late day snow. Confidence is shaky on that one. Wednesday looks milder. Low 40s with a chance of mixed precipitation early. Two beautiful days, then winter reminds us who's in charge. I'll be tracking that Sunday front closely. See you tomorrow morning with the latest. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
