This week: Rev. Jim Pasmore shares, “Confidence is Doing it Your Way”. You can’t do life your way if you don’t know who you are! When you know who you are you can do life with coherence and confidence. My talk this coming Sunday on confidence is in Divine Order as it is highly relevant to my life - and I suspect to the lives of everyone here. It’s about our journey into knowing who we are, initially as a person but ultimately as a spiritual being having a human experience. This journey into Spiritual awareness is what Unity and all true Spiritual teachings aim to achieve. There is no other journey as powerful, important and impactful to our confidence in the goodness, happiness and success of our lives as the journey into Spirit. For most of us we begin by learning who we are as a person. “Know thyself” as a person often comes before knowing who we are as a Spiritual Being. At least for me, it was a long and winding road from self-awareness to Spiritual Awareness.
