Lisa Lopes, also known as Left Eye, was an American rapper and a member of the R&B group TLC. She tragically died in a car crash in Honduras in 2002 at the age of 30. Weeks before her death, she was involved in another car accident in which a 10-year-old Honduran boy named Bayron Fuentes Lopes was fatally struck. Although she wasn't at fault, Lopes was haunted by the boy's death, believing not only that the boy was following her everywhere she went, but that death itself had made a mistake, meaning to take Lisa instead of the little boy. She died three weeks later, but not before eerily predicting her own demise, when death would come to rectify the mistake.
