À propos de cet audio

We are a brother and sister duo who are deeply interested in the scriptures, especially when they say something that sounds odd to our 21st century ears. Strangely Biblical will explore the topics that are glossed over in Sunday morning sermons because we believe they are interesting and important. We don’t always have all the answers, but we are committed to studying. Join us in our journey through the weird world of scripture.Copyright 2024 All rights reserved. • Ep. 12 - Bashan
    Aug 20 2025

Bashan is a region rich in Biblical history, but it is often overlooked. In this episode, Jeff and Shelby take a deep dive into the valley to highlight what scripture teaches us about its influence and presence of demonic activity. When Jesus shows up on the scene, the powers of darkness don't stand a chance.

  • Ep. 11 - Genesis 4 & 5 - The Seed of the Serpent
    Apr 14 2025

In Genesis 3:15 we see the first declaration of Yahweh's plan for redemption. We learn of two seeds, one of the serpent and the other of the woman. From the woman will come a Redeemer to crush the serpent's head. Only one chapter later, we see the story of the serpent's seed begin to unfold when Cain kills his own brother. Genesis 5 follows two genealogies, one associated with evil while the other will bring about the Promised Seed to crush the serpent's head.
