It’s November 1987 and the gang is trying to hunt down and kill Vecna after the Upside Down breaches Hawkins, leading to military lockdown and intensifying searches for Eleven. Meanwhile, Holly Wheeler has become a target, Henry Creel’s origins are revealed, and Will's growing connection to the Upside Down becomes crucial.
The volume focuses on the fractured group trying to unite to uncover Vecna's true, long-term plan involving Hawkins' children, with Will becoming key to understanding it. They’re facing heavy military resistance the whole way.
