This Sunday is Commitment Sunday! In this week’s message, we want to ask the question: What amazes Jesus? We know that Jesus is amazing—but what amazes Him? As we look again at the story in Mark 2, we discover that people’s faith amazes Jesus. Every time people do extraordinary things on behalf of someone else to demonstrate their faith in Him, He is amazed. We see this in the story of the paralytic, where Jesus was amazed by the faith of the friends.

This week, Pastor Jeff gives the message as we staying in the story of the paralytic, but we’re looking at a new perspective—the crowds in Capernaum. Those who showed up early, waited for Jesus, and weren’t about to give up their place for anyone… even those in need.

But when Jesus shows up, He doesn’t address those waiting in the crowd—He uses the friends on the roof the show us what real faith and compassion look like.
