The substance was a big movie in 2024 for horror because not only did it put body horror back in the mainstream but it was a movie from the genre that finally got acceptance within the award season and actually won some and that is incredibly deserved because it is a fantastic movie and we speak about it all

this film is wild, It's insane, It's filled references, It's goopy, it's bloody, it's gory , it has great practical effects and lots of meanings behind it all and so much more
