À propos de cet audio

Join us as WE come together to see the issues and the needs of today’s HEROES, our veterans and first responders. WE will discuss the solutions and see the organizations that are boots on the ground as WE combat the silent, invisible and deadly enemies our HEROES are facing. WE are a grassroots, nonpartisan, nonprofit acting in the Mission to honor, empower and support those who have served. WE are the shock and awe in combating the silent, invisible and deadly enemies of our daily heroes, the First Responders and Veterans. Our goals come on many levels and forms as WE are raising awareness to those who do not know, WE are providing resources to those in need and WE provide the opportunities to those who are still interested in serving and/or have not had or taken the chance to serve before. WE are the beacon of hope for many to change their world through recalibration and rehabilitation. Our goals are to get our HEROES back into their families and communities. In this week’s episode, we welcome Sarah Lee, a true go-getter with a passion for helping those fighting internal battles. Sarah shares her incredible story of cycling 4,000 miles solo in search of peace and clarity. Along the way, she was shown tremendous kindness, and now she’s determined to pay it forward through her mission and her work with therapeutic adventures through her mission, WaypointVets. We also feature musician David Bryant, known by his stage name Sailor. David joined us to discuss how his service has shaped his life, his music, and the path he’s on today. With nearly 20 years of experience and a style that crosses multiple genres, he’s not only an accomplished artist but also a high school basketball coach who sets an example for the young men he leads. He and his band are currently working on a new project. David shared three powerful original songs and the stories behind them: “Sum of My Fears” – Born from his transition out of metal after losing his mother to cancer; a deeply honest reflection on fear, faith, and admitting when help is needed. “Devil in Me” – A raw look at growing up in a dysfunctional family and navigating the loss of loved ones. “End of My Rope” – An expression of exhaustion with life’s chaos and division; the feeling of being worn out and ready for change. Wreaths Across America – Thank you for honoring our heroes laid to rest at the national cemetery! WeP3 RADIO – Proudly the leading station featuring music created, written, and performed by those who have served our country and communities. Next Week’s Guests — November 30, 2025 Madhuri Govindu David Brown

WGY6@6 Recap Guests: Jason McNamara – The No More 9 to 5 Club Last night, we had Jason McNamara join us from The No More 9 to 5 Club. Jason loved our reminder about “Checking Your 6” and is eager to be part of that mission. He offers another great source of support for those who need it. His program runs through WhatsApp, and you can easily join the group by clicking the link. Featured Artist: Phil Beaver and the Phirejets Phil has a full album written and ready to record — they’re currently negotiating the deal and hoping to move forward soon. It’s a protest-themed album (though even Phil jokes he’s not sure what they’re protesting — but everyone’s doing it, so why not?). Big shoutout to Jason — what you’re doing is amazing and tremendous! Song Lineup: “Comet” – A “drive-by lover” story from the woman’s perspective. Erika brings powerhouse vocals with a heavy keyboard sound. Paws compared it to a blend of Meatloaf and Little Shop of Horrors. “Suck It Up” – A darker, country-inspired song from their second album, written during COVID. It reflects the isolation and heaviness of that time. “Walking on the Moon” – A tribute to the great rockers of the ‘70s (with a nod to the ‘60s and ‘80s too). Phil crafted this as a subliminal mix of familiar riffs and inspiration from legends who keep us rocking. Wreaths Across America – Thank you for honoring our heroes laid to rest in the national cemetery. Click here to learn more. WeP3 RADIO – The only music station featuring songs created, written, produced, and sung by those who’ve served their country and communities. Tune in here. 📅 Next Week’s Guests – November 16, 2025: Josh Holm - Steel Hope Foundation Chuck Briseno Music
