That doesn't mean we close ourselves off to people and relationships, but having respect for ourselves, and never being afraid to walk away when we feel we deserve better.

    Many things divide society, including culture, race, religion and gender. None of those divisions instigate positive evolution or contribute towards a balanced society. Instead, discrimination causes resentment and reprisals; attacking one, the other reacts. And a merry-go-round of chaos ensues. Instead of stereotyping everyone with specific metrics as the same, we should consider everyone unique, regardless of the biases which taint our views. Everyone deserves a fresh opportunity to represent themselves and not be unfairly prejudged by others.
