Angular momentum is conserved for systems of objects that are rotating. This is true for figure skaters and students on wheel chairs. (1:02) We agree that when determining rotational directions, we use the right hand rule. (2:56) Rotational kinetic energy can change for rotating objects even if their angular momentum is conserved.
