À propos de cet audio

Matt and Nick Homer are back for the upcoming football season with two new football podcasts, The Bridge Brothers Podcast and FPL Bridge Brothers.

The first of these is an irreverent take on weekly football stories where we cover topics such as non-league, EFL, the Premier League, WSL and much more.

Our second show continues our Fantasy Premier League journey as initially documented in our podcast FPL Pod VS Tok, but is a more focused and streamlined show which follows the lads' journey as they continue to out-do each other in their mini-leagues and cup competitions.

So welcome aboard for our two new shows! We cannot wait to get started!

  • FPL Birthday Deadlines and the Return of the WSL
    Jan 6 2026

In episode 19 of FPL Bridge Brothers, Matt and Nick lick their wounds after an indifferent set of FPL performances.

But there are reasons to be cheerful with Matt getting a very fortunate 17 points off his bench and Nick ringing the changes with his new wildcard.

With Matt's birthday landing on the game week 21 deadline, he vows to use his day off to improve his FPL and FWSL teams.

Speaking of WSL, the lads are very excited to see the return of the Women's Super League and discuss their early plans ahead of the restart of the WSL season.

    And speaking of deadlines.

  • Festive Pressure in FPL and FWSL Reflections...
    Dec 24 2025
After another poor game week, there is pressure on Matt and his FPL team as some incorrect 50/50 decisions seems him slide further down the league tables. One of his new years' resolutions has to be to stop benching his better players. Nick on the other hand is riding the crest of a wave and benefited from his accidental wildcard.Looking forward, it's now or never for Matt's bench boost as the brothers talk about their plans for game weeks 18 and 19. Nick, conversely, is looking to remove Brentford's Igor Thiago whose form has been very disappointing of late.Matt and Nick finish the show with by reviewing their Fantasy WSL season so far. Thankfully for Matt, he is doing much better in this game with him and Nick both serving their Women's Super League apprenticeship this year. There's also random tangental chat about school sports days and the "oh my god" particle.Join the conversation via any, or all, of the following platforms...InstagramYouTubeTik-TokBlue Sky X (mainly known as Twitter)And when it comes to Fantasy leagues and codes, you can play FPL against us via the code BN59SG.
