À propos de cet audio

Parramatta Park is a people’s park and major urban park and historic site in Parramatta in Western Sydney, Australia.

It is one of the earliest gazetted public parks in Australia, dedicated as a park in 1857.

It is an all accessible, recreation space, providing a leafy escape from the CBD with its wide-open spaces and picnic and play areas covering 85 hectares.

As more than half of Sydney’s population will live west of Parramatta by 2036, it is an essential greenspace providing the green lungs to help cool the west and reduce heat. Recently there has been an upgrading of lighting.
