Master Nick is excited for this long-awaited episode where he and Lady Dee get to introduce Sir Dancealot, Dan, who performed at Kinktasia 2024. Lady Dee selected his burlesque performance as her favorite. In this episode of The Dom Life, Dan will fill you in on how and where to learn Burlesque dancing in the Louisville area. He discusses that in his mind he is at the French Vanilla level of kink and acknowledges that voyeurism and exhibitionism are areas that appeal to him. While attending local Sloshes and Munches and even an LiNK Dungeon, he has found his community. In Part 2, Master Nick and Lady Dee hear details on some of the national Spankos events including educational classes which have included soaping, strapping 101, negotiations, role playing and even rope. KentuckyGirl talks about an event called Court where there is a “Judge” and how to bring court cases against each other – fun cases. There is a schoolgirl social event for middles which is exactly as it sounds with attitude in a fun way, then there is Detention which was one of the best stories Lady Dee has ever heard during their time recording The DOM Life podcast. In this Episode Master Nick and Lady Dee receive an education on Spankos. KentuckyGirl tells The DOM Life about some of the standard tools used as a Spanker to include hair brushes, spoons, belts, paddles, and don’t forget the ever-favorite - hands. She provides insight to the Spankos mentality and how it differs from BDSM. Lady Dee was surprised to hear that penetration was not necessary after a good spanking, in fact, it takes away from the experience for KentuckyGirl. While Master Nick decided that he can show a very sexy way to remove a belt. Master Nick and Lady Dee discuss a common meeting set up by local kink and BDSM communities which are called a slosh or munch. Slosh is when alcohol is involved and it is typically at a bar, while a munch is at restaurants. This is an opportunity to meet other like-minded individuals at a safe, public space. In this episode, they discuss attending an LNK (Louisville Network of Kink) slosh called Cocktails and Conversations where they provide a breakdown of the event. They also announce their attendance at the Indianapolis IN Leather and Kink Weekend on 9/12 to 9/14 as well as Kinktasia 2025, where they will bring their podcast equipment, in November.

As a result of the joke regarding Master Nick napping, he retaliates in this episode by leaving in Lady Dee’s moment of forgetfulness to show all listeners what it’s really like living with her. Still discussing Day 1 from the A Frayed Knot 3-day Self-Tying Summit, the final two classes with RedHoneyRopes and Dirt Queen were detailed out. RedHoneyRopes instructed the class on a chest harness as well as the Futomomo leg tie. Dirt Queen then provided the fundamentals of lower body harnesses, by having participants tie single columns on all areas of the legs and then taught a booty basket. Day 2 of the self-tying summit was impressive with every mat and every station having a suspension rig. Mika and Lilith were forced to take point on the discussion of the classes from the second day when Master Nick heralded in the crickets. Snapped Ginger did an amazing job covering the basics of self-suspension safety, hardpoints, where to buy equipment, rating of equipment and tying an upline. After attendees suspended backpacks and bags, Air then covered the next step of tips and tricks for self-suspension allowing the class to interact, ask question and get feed back before suspending. This was followed up by the class from RedHoneyRopes who ties an Agura in partial suspension - Lilith was impressed with the beauty and strength of this tie. Although they were unable to attend Dirt Queen’s class on Self-tie synthesis: transitions through levels, they did hear about the class and saw picture of Dirt Queen and Air’s suspension results from labbing it out. Master Nick wakes up from his nap and engages with Lilith, Mika and Lady Dee who finish the introduction of the Share Bears including how daddy issues, family issues and other trauma brought them into the kink world before moving onto the topic of the day – AFK 3-day Self-tying Summit. Together they walk through some of the classes from the first day before running out of time (again). Master Nick expresses his gratitude for the breakfast provided during the event. The first class discussed was led by Snapped Ginger getting everyone warmed up for the day and reconnecting the movement of the body with the mind, Captain Leviathan’s class was next which provided a much-needed review of the basic knots, and afterwards is Air’s class about being creative with rope and ties – it’s all about free-form. The DOM Life episode dives into single column, risk profiles, safety and using a pocket knife to cut rope. Just say NO.

After leaving you hanging last week from Master Nick's question, Sir Dante explains his reasoning for not using his dominance to end a relationship disagreement.
