    That's not cosmetic.
    That's biological.
    And it comes with a cost.

    We're Back! after a bit of a pause, the Own Your Shift Podcast is back on regular weekly drops!

    Today we are going to talk about something I hear all the time from high-performing women.

    "I don't want to come off as intimidating."
    "I think I need to be a bit softer."
    "I should probably be more approachable."

    And every time I hear that, I think the same thing:

    Who told you your authority was a problem?

    Because here's the truth—we need to stop confusing confidence with coldness and competence with intimidation.

    Your authority isn't intimidating.
    It's inspiring.
