The Housing First Policy has been pushed and partially funded by the Federal government for over two decades. Today’s episode of Briefing with the Chief, the host will interview Dr. Christopher Calton of the Independent Institute. He is a critic of the Housing First Model as currently implemented.
The Independent Institute is a nonprofit, non-partisan, public-policy research and educational organization that shapes ideas into profound and lasting impact through publications, conferences and effective multi-media programs.
Dr. Christopher Calton is the Research Fellow in Housing and Homelessness at the Independent Institute. He received his PhD in History at the University of Florida. Dr. Calton is a contributor to Beyond Homeless: Good Intentions, Bad Outcomes, Transformative Solutions.
