All glory to God—welcome to Season 2 of The Faith-Based Workplace Show.

Between Season 1 and now, God has graciously done a mighty work in me. My prayer is that His presence would breathe on this new season and that every conversation would bear lasting fruit—both personally and professionally. The journey here has included unexpected twists, stretching trials, and meaningful growth, which is why I begin this season with the topic: “Think It Not Strange.”

In our workplaces—whether corporate, entrepreneurial, ministry, or mission-driven, we often encounter conflict, resistance, disappointment, or pressure that feels personal and overwhelming. Through conversations with trusted leaders and fellow believers, a common truth has surfaced: trials and tribulations are not detours from the Christian journey; they're often part of it. Yet when workplace tension, opposition, or spiritual warfare arises, we don’t always recognize these moments as expected or purposeful.

No matter what industry you're in, our work requires a certain level of attention in order to carry out those roles productively and effectively. And to do this, you have to maintain a level of appreciation for the work you perform. So the question is… when our work conditions become hard to handle and we have to maintain this level of mental stability, as Christ-followers, how do we find gratitude when work gets rough?
