June 12, 2025: It’s easy to forget with the constant buzz about the transfer portal but high major D1 schools still do recruit high school athletes. Of course, MSU is no stranger to going after big fish and the 2026 class is no different.

Some very interesting recruitments include legacy kids like Jaxon Richardson, Mateen Cleaves Jr., and KJ Torbert.
