  • The Truth Will Set You Free
    Nov 5 2025

A key component of being a Freewoman is using your voice. We must learn to use our voices to advocate for ourselves, for our children and for other victims. Our voices can also draw awareness to injustice and speak truth where lies have been allowed to muddy the waters. Sometimes your voice is the only thing standing between an abuser and their victim.

If you have experienced trauma, especially childhood abuse, standing up for yourself can feel like an impossible task. But the only way out is through. The more you use your voice to stand up for yourself, the more your nervous system will learn it's safe to speak.

It's amazing what a difference one voice speaking truth can make. Your voice matters.

We must honor all aspects of the self, even the parts that seem dark and terrifying. Go towards the ghouls and ghosts and find the treasures waiting in their outstretched hands.
