    October 12th, 1964. Washington, D.C. Mary Meyer was murdered while taking a walk along the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal towpath. The police quickly arrested a man named Ray Crump who was near the crime scene. But Crump's arrest and trial didn't answer the many questions surrounding Mary's murder. In the years that followed there were suggestions that she was killed because of her close association with D.C. officials.

    July 11, 2002. Bridgeport, Ohio. Just after 6am in the morning, John McGhee's daughter Alyssa was awakened by a loud noise. When she went to see what had happened she discovered her father lying in the doorway of the home and covered in blood. Detectives would discover that John's sister pearl lived next door and that just before John's murder, she, her son, and his girlfriend were attacked by four armed men dressed all in black. At the time, John was working as an informant. Was his death a robbery gone wrong or was he targeted?
