We are approaching Super Bowl LX, and the opposing quarterbacks have great admiration for each other. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had a couple of major stories to address at Super Bowl media day. Men’s Head Coach Sean Miller gets his 500-career victory, and Women’s Head Coach Vic Schafer thanks the fans for the intense environment. The Longhorn baseball team held its alumni game, and fans got to see some of the new talent. A boxer had a hair-raising experience Saturday night. We give a preview of the Super Bowl and give our opinion on the head coaching moves in the NFL. Tennessee Men’s Basketball Head Coach Rick Barnes might’ve put his foot in his mouth. Dave Campbell Magazine gave out its Mr. Football award, and it's a player arriving to play football at the 40 Acres. We have more NFL coaching hires we give our thoughts. The Super Bowl has big wagers on the game; to no surprise, one of the largest wagers was made by a familiar face. We share opinions on the Dallas Cowboys' upcoming draft. We preview the big weekend in Texas sports, as the Texas baseball team hosts Ladies Night and its Alumni game.
