À propos de cet audio

Welcome to The Inner Shift Podcast, where Kimothy and Amy get real about women’s mental health. If you’re juggling caregiving, work, family, burnout, and that voice in your head screaming, “WTF is happening?!”—you’re in the right place. This isn’t fluffy self-care. We talk about anxiety, burnout, and meltdowns in grocery store aisles while doing too much. Expect raw conversations, expert insights, and zero BS. It’s time to stop pretending we have it all together. Grab coffee (or wine), take a deep breath, and let’s figure this out together.Kimothy Walker / Amy Friesen Hygiène et mode de vie sain Psychologie Psychologie et santé mentale

  • From Breast Cancer "Poster Gal" to being a CEO, We Talk about it ALLLLLLLL on this Episode!
    Dec 2 2025

Regular contributor Laurel Gillespie recently raised money to help fight cancer by posting a sexy photo of herself taken the night before she lost her breasts to cancer. The Canadian business leader (not-for-profit) talks with Amy and Kimothy about showing strength by recognizing when we can't be strong...and how to learn from that by helping others. We also talk about why only 5% of CEOs of major companies are women in Canada, and what we can learn from that statistic. The focus on the positive, and letting go of people who don't come on your journey, means learning from how WE were treated to help inspire the next generation of leaders.
Laurel is the CEO of the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association.
