DC Comics's Superman franchise, based on the character of the same name created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster in June 1938, has seen the release of various films since its inception.[1]

The character debuted in cinemas in a series of animated shorts beginning in 1941 and was the protagonist of two movie serials in 1948 and 1950. An independent studio, Lippert Pictures, released the first Superman feature film, Superman and the Mole Men, starring George Reeves, in 1951. In 1973, the film rights to the Superman character were purchased by Ilya Salkind, Alexander Salkind, and Pierre Spengler. After multiple scripts and several years in development, Richard Donner was hired as director, and he shot two films, Superman (1978) (marketed as Superman: The Movie), and Superman II (1980), at the same time, both starring Christopher Reeve

Heads of State is an 2025 American action comedy film directed by Ilya Naishuller. It stars John Cena, Idris Elba, Priyanka Chopra, Jack Quaid, Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, and Carla Gugino. Jurassic World Rebirth is a 2025 American science fiction action adventure thriller film directed by Gareth Edwards and written by David Koepp.[3] A standalone sequel to Jurassic World Dominion (2022), it is the fourth Jurassic World film and the seventh installment overall in the Jurassic Park franchise. WWE brings Night of Champions back for the first time since 2023, returning to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the second premium live event outside of the U.S. this year. While the name of the event implies it will be a night dedicated to championship matches, only two will take place, headlined by another bout between longtime foes in John Cena and CM Punk for the Undisputed Championship. F1 is a sports drama film starring Brad Pitt as a race-car driver who returns to Formula One after a thirty-year absence to save his old teammate's underdog squad from collapse. It was directed by Joseph Kosinski with a screenplay written by Ehren Kruger, from a story by the two. The film was made with the collaboration of the FIA, Formula One's governing body, and features many real-life F1 drivers, including Lewis Hamilton, who co-produced the film. The film also stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Javier Bardem.
