À propos de cet audio

The Labor Line is a real, unfiltered birth story podcast hosted by Emily — a non-mom who's forever obsessed with how babies are born. Every Tuesday, Emily sits down with her mom friends to hear honest, hilarious, and deeply human stories about pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. Whether it’s a surprise C-section, a birth plan gone beautifully (or terribly) off track, or a wild “my water broke at Target” moment — no detail is too raw, real, or ridiculous. This isn’t a clinical breakdown or crunchy birth circle (though we love both). It’s more like eavesdropping on a late-night call between best friends — complete with laughter, tears, jaw-dropping moments, and sincere conversations about what it actually feels like to give birth. Perfect for moms, birth nerds, doulas, expecting parents, or anyone curious about the real side of birth — The Labor Line delivers weekly episodes full of heart, humor, and total honesty. 🎧 New episodes every Tuesday 🩷 Follow on Instagram: @thelaborline - Keywords: birth stories podcast, real labor stories, pregnancy podcast, postpartum stories, c-section podcast, funny birth podcast, honest motherhood, podcast for moms, women's health podcast, birth podcast hosted by non-momCopyright 2025 Emily Lau Hygiène et mode de vie sain Relations Sciences sociales Éducation des enfants

  • Quick Dilation + Postpartum Health | Malloree’s Birth Stories
    Sep 30 2025

This week, I’m joined by my friend Malloree, who once dilated from a 5 to a 10 in just 15 minutes, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg! Her 3 birth experiences include a one-push wonder baby, Group B Strep (GBS) for all 3 births, and a failed epidural that resulted in a multi-day-long allergic reaction. She has also run the gamut of postpartum mental health experiences, from postpartum depression with her first, to rage with her second, and anxiety with her third.

    In this episode:

    • Leaking amniotic fluid at 37 weeks
    • Healing from a 2nd degree tear while having a UTI
    • Positive breastfeeding experiences
    • An anatomy scan false alarm
    • Responding to postpartum mental health warning signs

Malloree is a great reminder that no two postpartum experiences are alike and that often the best way to take care of your kids is to first take care of yourself!
