In this episode of the Mama Psychedelia Podcast, I interview my friend Lauren Love. Lauren is a medicine woman, birth keeper, mama of 2, and the Founder of Wise Women's Choice Natural Birth Control. In our conversation we dive into all things natural birth (she's got some epic tales), communing with medicines of the earth as a supportive tool for present attuned parenthood and joyful living. We talk about mothering in Costa Rica outside of conventional norms, her relationship with spirit and Lauren's journey of sovereign fertility awareness and working with natural contraceptive methods.

Along Lauren's path as a birth keeper and fertility awareness educator, she discovered one of the most valuable tools for women looking to care for their fertility needs, Wise Women's Choice. Today, she and her husband produce this cream in Costa Rica and serve clients around the world. She has helped thousands of women coming off hormonal contraceptives through her teachings and resources, and is leading a revolution rooted in sisterhood, feminine empowerment, and womb wisdom.

In this episode of the Mama Psychedelia Podcast, I interview Amana Be Love on her journey with birth, death, motherhood and midwife-ing other women through big initiations in their lives. Amana is a brilliant bright soul and it was an honour to receive the stories of her life from loss of some of her dearest loved ones, and babies of her own to her empowered home birth experiences, the births of her living children, and her journey of motherhood and profound space holding for others. Amana has traversed 42 years in this earthly realm. She is an experienced Birthwalker & Deathwalker, who draws from both her personal & professional experience within these portals to support other women in 1:1 sessions & women's circles. Amana has held life in her womb 6 times, has two living children earthside, birthing 2 babies at home with a midwife & her last with only her family & soul sisters present. Amana walks alongside women in birth, grief, mothering & rebirths through their lives. Reminding women and shining a light on their inner knowing & in teaching them ways to source from within. We must first know ourselves, our values & what we truly desire in order to move towards our soul's calling & receive the gifts of living a life in alignment with our purpose.

In this episode of the Mama Psychedelia Podcast I interview Aimee Aroha. This is a powerhouse of a woman right here! Aimee is a Mother of four, a mixed race Māori woman of Ngā Puhi and Te Rarawa descent, with Irish and Scottish ties. She is a qualified counsellor intentionally working outside the system as a Matri-centric Mentor, she works largely with women and families across the child bearing continuum but welcomes all people seeking to create lives of more authenticity and passion. The core principle of her work is a devotional decolonial perspective; exploring how colonised system seek to disconnect individuals, the collective and the Earth from eachother. Our conversation is largely centered around decolonizing the childbearing continuum, Aimee's message is a powerful one and I am beyond grateful to have dropped in to the depths of realness with her in this way. This conversation is full of so many gems of wisdom.
