À propos de cet audio

“Hey friend, today we’re skipping the chit-chat and diving into the good stuff: you know, like raising decent humans, building a healthy marriage, prioritizing your wellness, figuring out how you’re wired, and most importantly, realizing just how much you truly matter in this world. And yep, we’re adding a little Jesus into it as well. So let’s get into it. I’m Megan, and you’re listening to season three of The Megan May Podcast.”

  • You Won’t Be for Everyone, and That’s Okay
    Sep 9 2025

We live in a world where being accepted, liked, and understood can feel like everything, but the truth is, you won’t be for everyone. And that’s not just okay, it’s actually a gift.

In this episode, I share a simple but powerful story about an aloe vera plant my daughter found in the “sick section” of a store. She loved it until it stopped looking perfect. Just like her, I was ready to toss it aside. But something made me pause. I gave it a new pot, some care, a better environment, and over time, that little plant began to thrive. Now? It’s healthy, growing, and proudly sitting as a “people plant” in our home.

This story reflects a profound truth about life: you may not always be recognized for your worth right away. You might not be in the right environment. But with care, intention, and the right people around you, you can grow into exactly who you’re meant to be.

In this uplifting and honest episode, we dive into why Girls’ Night isn’t just a fun outing, it’s a vital form of self-care, connection, and simply good for the soul. Joining the conversation are two inspiring friends of mine, Lindsey Rinde and Katie Lieser, who bring their friendship wisdom and practical advice to the table.

    • How finding your group can look the same or very different, and either is okay!
    • Creative ways to prioritize friendship amidst busy schedules and different seasons
    • The deeper bonds that are often formed when women gather in safe, supportive spaces
    • Oh, and if you want to see our awful haircuts, check them out on Instagram @youmatterbymegan
