  • Episode 9: Ep. 09 - Angel Numbers
    Dec 11 2025

On this episode of 'The Positive Place' with an original air date of April 17, 2025 we DIVE IN to the world of angel numbers.
    111..
    222..
    333..
    and so on.

Each repeating number has its own meaning; Has its own message from the Universe.
The biggest question to ask yourself is, "Do I speak the language of the Universe?"
She's always talking to us, so let's learn the language together.

We talk about numerology and the woman who catapulted angel numbers into today's culture, who then recanted on her YEARS of spirituality writing after becoming a devout Christian. There is A LOT to unpack there! So much so, there will eventually be a part #2 to this episode.

  • Episode 8: Ep. 08 - Finding Joy After Loss with My New Friend Nancy
    Nov 22 2025

On this episode with an original air date of May 1, 2025 my on-air guest is Nancy Swanberg, a retired psychotherapist, animal lover, and believer in the power of positive thinking. "In the end, happiness is a choice," she told me.

She talks about some incredible ways to cope with some big feelings, navigating life after loss, choosing happiness, and more! I enjoyed meeting and talking with Nancy so much in fact, our conversation continued even during music or ads playing on-air, so in a rare exclusive, this podcast contains our behind the scenes chats. Nancy is to-date the longest interview I've held, and even then, I feel like we could have continued on gabbing for hours.

I hope you enjoy listening to Nancy as much as I did. And hey- She's also a published author!
You can get a copy of her book "The Connection Formula" here. (This is also a shout out to thriftbooks.com. If you haven't heard of them yet, then 'you're welcome'!)

Oh, and for more of your reading enjoyment, here is the article from happiness.com about the eight ways to choose happiness! It is a wonderful read.

  • Episode 7: Ep. 07 - BURN IT ALL DOWN!
    Oct 24 2025

In this episode with an original air date of March 3, 2025, we are burning it all to the ground... we don't need water, let the MoF-er BURN!

Of course, I am only speaking figuratively here but you knew that ;)

Not only is there nothing wrong with burning it all down and starting over, but in some cases, it is truly necessary in order to thrive. What is "it"? That is up to you - The "it" is whatever person, place or thing in your life that you could do without. "It" is that bad habit, that toxic job, heck.. maybe even your entire lifestyle.

Let's talk about it! Welcome to 'The Positive Place' and whether you've been here a while or it's your first time, I am so glad you're here.

  • Episode 5: Ep. 05 - Time Isn't Real: An Overview of the History and Theories of Time
    Sep 25 2025

Have you ever heard someone say "Time isn't real" and wondered what that was all about?

In this 30-minute episode, we scratch the service on why we follow the calendar we use today, what role Christianity had in that, and some prevailing theories on time. Do any of us really *know* what time is it? As it turns out, nope!

This is, at best, an introduction off a very deep and complex topic, and at worst, a compilation of neat, random facts and theories about time. Regardless, the main takeaway is that all we have is the NOW.

    Cherish the now.
    Live in the now.
    Enjoy the now.

  • Episode 4: Ep. 04 - Be a Good Doobie Like Dr. Jon Hogue
    Sep 18 2025

On this episode, with an original air date of 5/15/25, we talked about folks who are GOOD DOOBIES!

What is a "good doobie"? If you've never heard the expression, it originates from a children's show in the 60s-70s called 'Romper Room' where they would sing, "I always do what's right, I never do anything wrong. I'm a Romper Room Do Bee A Do Bee all day long..."
Over time, the phrase "good doobie" was born from this which now describes a good person doing good deeds.

Alas, my guest Dr. Jon Hogue of North Star Family Services in Leominster, Mass. is the absolute embodiment of a good doobie. You'll hear how he raised an impressive $9 MILLION to build a new 15-unit apartment complex for families in need.

I also gave some shout-outs to the Universe to some other folks all over the country doing AMAZING things for others!

Positivity is contagious. Let's spread it!

  • Episode 3: Ep. 03 - Defining and Finding YOUR Ikigai
    Sep 3 2025

Hi friends and welcome to 'The Positive Place.'
I'm your friend and host, Pam. I'm so glad you're here!

Ikigai is one of my favorite topics and lifestyle types, so let's talk about it on this episode of 'The Positive Place' that originally aired on February 20, 2025.

    What is ikigai?
It is Japanese for "reason for being" or in other words - your purpose, your passion - It is what you were put on this Earth to do. In general, there are four components to your ikigai. It is:
    1) something you love
    2) something you're good at
    3) something that world needs
    4) something you can get paid to do

On this episode, I reference podcaster Rob Dial Jr. -> THE MINDSET MENTOR <- Find it wherever you listen to your podcasts.
I also reference the book -> IKIGAI: THE JAPANESE SECRET TO A LONG AND HAPPY LIFE <- Find it wherever you purchase your books!

    Aug 8 2025

In this episode that originally aired live on WLPZ.org on March 20, 2025, I sit down with three members of the Leominster chapter of the national rock-only choir, Rock Voices to learn about their organization, their philosophy and what they LOVE about belonging to a choir.

To learn more about Rock Voices on a national level, where you can find your local chapter, and how to join, visit their website at: https://rockvoices.com/

Later in the episode, I dive into the results of a decade long study about the benefits of singing in a choir called 'The Chorus Impact Study.'
