    Against the backdrop of worldwide, unexplainable natural disasters, Dr. Virginia Marilyn Edwards (Emmy Award-winner Kerry Washington) seeks out Agent Scott Thomas (Emmy Award-winner Laurence Fishburne) at a secretive government headquarters. Virginia claims these events are signs, and unless Agent Thomas helps her, she believes things will only get worse. Her desperation is dialed up higher with a shocking proclamation as she stands before him pregnant, weak, and weary: “Agent Thomas,” she says, “I believe I am Mary.”  

    Could she be the actual Virgin Mary? Could he be Doubting Thomas, whom she must convince? And what of the two other men - Jonah and Daniel - who have somehow found their way here as well and seem to hold fresh clues to this global mystery?

About the Creator

Randy McKinnon is a writer, director and producer. He served as writer/co-producer on the Apple TV+ series Invasion and writer of Safety on Disney+ as well as writer of the film Static Shock for DC Comics, which is in development. Additionally, he has multiple high-profile projects in development for various studios, including Warner Brothers, Sony, Annapurna, A24, Temple Hill and Paramount Players.

About the Executive Producer and Performer

Kerry Washington is an Emmy-winning, SAG, and Golden Globe-nominated actor, director, producer, and activist. She is known for her work in film, television, and theatre, including the hit ABC drama Scandal, where she broke barriers by becoming the first African-American woman since 1974 to headline a network TV drama. Among her many accolades, she has won two Primetime Emmy nominations, two Golden Globe nominations, four SAG nominations, and four NAACP Image Awards. Her production company Simpson Street uses art, entertainment and technology to share narratives that amplify our common humanity while affirming the value of every individuals’ journey. In 2013, Washington was honored with the NAACP President’s Award, recognizing her special achievements in furthering the cause of civil rights and public service. In 2015, she won the GLAAD Media Vanguard Award, and the following year, she won an ACLU Bill of Rights Award. Her other work includes star turns and notable performances in The Prom, Django Unchained, Ray, The Last King of Scotland, Little Fires Everywhere, American Son, Night Catches Us, Confirmation, Live in Front of a Studio Audience, and many more.

Now, I get why people used to love to listen to radio stories...

The overall pace, acting and sound effects were wonderfully balanced and gave me the impression I was watching a great mini-series.

A spell binding journey

A true treasure I am hoping we get more! Loved every episode couldn't stop listening! The acting was amazing I was immersed in the story.....just amazing

Amazing!

This episodic had new on the edge of my seat with each beer development. Full cast and sound design make it a very enjoyable experience. Kerry Warrington and Laurence Fishburne are amazing, as well as the rest of the cast. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It Has Potential

I had high hopes for this performance. The work of the actors and actresses was exquisite, but I was left unsatisfied in the end. It was also unnecessary to add a race aspect to the story. The story was fine without it.

Amazing production value

Took me a few minutes to get used to the production style of having multiple actors and sounds like in a regular movie. What an awesome way to deliver the content, I hope Audible creates more of these! The actors were top notch and their delivery was bang on. Well done!
