Known as the longtime host of TSN’s hockey coverage, Duthie has been a staple of Canadian sports media for decades, anchoring some of the biggest events in the world of sport including the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship, CFL Grey Cup, Super Bowl, and The Masters Tournament.

James Duthie is an eight-time Canadian Screen Award winner, earning multiple honours for Best Sports Host and Best Sports Feature Segment, including recognition for TSN’s Free Agent Frenzy, TradeCentre, and his powerful feature “The Butterfly Child.” He was also recognized for his work during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, co-hosting alongside Lisa Laflamme. In 2009, he received the Excellence in Sports Broadcasting Award from Sports Media Canada, further cementing his impact on the industry.
