Likewise, the Book of Matthew has a lot to unpack too. Whether you're wanting to know the Bible better because you're a believer, or you just think it's an interesting and important book, I can't recommend this podcast enough. I first found The TMBH on YouTube, and after becoming a fan of Matt's content I found out about the podcast. I started listening to it back in March and over the past few months I've been working my way through from the beginning. If you're worried about having to invest all that time, Matt does do recap episodes for new listeners here and there.
I'm a new Christian, and this has really helped me to gain a deeper understanding, and it has helped me with the way I look at other books of the Bible too. In addition to that, I just really like Matt's personality. I think he's got a great sense of humor. He is intellectually honest and doesn't shy away from examining some of the hard questions that come up, and he does his best to present the material in an unbiased way as he examines and works out the meaning with the listener. After over 600 episodes I feel like he's a one-way friend who has helped me to explore my faith and will probably never really understand the impact he made on my journey.
So, if you are interested in high-quality content that helps you understand the Bible better while also managing to be entertaining, this is the right podcast for you. If you're not, I'm not sure why you're reading reviews for a podcast called "The Ten Minute Bible Hour", but I'm not judging. You do you friend.
