Canadian Kyle is joined with Alan Pangbourne. He is the President and CEO of Chesapeake Gold Corp (TSXV:CKG, OTCQX:CHPGF). Their Metates deposit is large but it is a low grade refractory gold deposit which poses some issues given how the gold mining industry currently extracts sulfides. But this technology has been successful in the copper industry and he believes it can work in the gold industry. People had doubts in the past with new technology and it is difficult to be an early adopter. Alan states he owns 11% of the company and has his neck out on the line and I respect that. 
He has a colourful career and takes some time explaining it. We then get into the project and some common objections of the technology. I wish we had more time to get further in the details but it was still an interesting conversation and hope you enjoy!

Canadian Kyle goes to Ewan Downie's office to get a better understanding of the I-80 Gold story!
He is the CEO of I-80 Gold (TSX:IAU, OTCQX:IAUCF). 
This is one of the larger companies that I have had on the podcast and it is fitting to have it be the first in person interview I have done with my new camera! It may be one of the largest companies I have had on the program but they have a lot of room to grow from here. There are a lot of moving parts and you will need to tune in to get a better understanding but essentially they are growing their operations and the ounces through further drilling. IAU is currently operating and have a deal with Nevada Gold Mines to process their ore until their recently acquired Lone Tree facility is retrofitted.
