From Sweden (imported with NO excise taxes) Yoyo xno return to TheDavidBowersAwards as they promised a few weeks ago, with their newly-released album "PEARL"! In between wreaking havoc on the interview, the boys share tracks from an incredibly creative and original album of 'pearls' they have written and recorded over the years. I don't know if it was Yo or yo but one of them was constantly interrupting with shouts and comments but, they couldn't overshadow this collection with its diversity and originality! By popular demand, David Martinez returns to TheDavidBowersAwards and with a hot new track. David is one of our most popular guests, having joined us more times than any other guest! This time he brings a rocking new release with a brand new sound. At the suggestion of his lovely wife Shawn, he adds horns for the very first time! Continuing to grow with new sounds, styles and fans, David Martinez shows that he is definitely "Here To Stay!"

The David BowersAwards presents another 'Artists Special' - This week, our old friend Grant Maloy Smith returns and with a guest, his music partner in his latest adventure (which includes some unexpected videos!).

Amazing marimba player, Kevin Lucas joins Grant to talk about (and share) music from their current project, music videos of their music! They share five tracks and talk about recording them 'on location' in some really interesting places ... including one that was both crazy and, it turns out, dangerous!!! You don't want to miss THIS one!

Five amazing tracks from Grant and Kevin, behind the scenes secrets and some equally amazing sounds. They have joined forces in writing the music as well as playing together and Kevin makes his marimba technique blend with Grant's songs like they belong together.

The David BowersAwards presents another 'Artists Special' - This week presenting the Los Angeles-based hybrid rock band In The Stars from SalterGann Management. In The Stars has a high-energy, alternative rock sound they describe as "high energy melodic/alternative rock. They bring influences from bands like Green Day, Muse and FooFighters with a southern roots angle to create 'the In The Stars sound.' Three dedicated musician you can relate with and feel!

The band comes to TheDavidBowersAwards through their recent signing with SalterGann Management, and we are fortunate to have the CEO of SalterGann with us this week, Phyllis Salter Gann. Phyllis is the founder of the SalterGann management group including promotions, radio, records and distribution. She is a voting member of the The Recording Academy of the United States (Grammy's). Phyllis tells us about her companies' work and what it takes to get their attention!

With a degree in Mass Communications from Middle Tennessee State and a radio career including a Program Director of the year award, Larry Pareigis was a natural to head his own label/talent management company, Nine North Records Label Group. Larry shares his background and brings two of his artists.

Nine North artist Troy Kidder is a successful recording artist who is also president of Kidder Media marketing & public relations and is a "dad who likes to rock!" He is also an author, corporate trainer, husband and dad! In addition to sharing his music with us, Troy tells us about his busy life and career.

Nine North artist Bradseth, whose, 'Lies,' we share, along with his hypnotic 'S.M.B.' (Do we dare tell what it means?) Getting to know the artist in the way that only we do. Bradseth, originally from Chicago, now in the Nashville songwriting scene, talks about his creative process as he pushes the boundaries of pop.

This week Fred Hostetler returns to TheDavidBowersAwards with new music. Fred, who co-founded the blues band 'Blue By Nature' with Karen Lawrence, has worked the majors including Johnny Winters. Jeff Beck and Graham Parker. His style can cross genres as demonstrated on his album, 'Blues Back Pages.'

Jacob Chacko is here for the first time after his single "Fallen Dreams" caught listeners attention on this show. Here he talks about his music and his own personal history. HIs music covers diverse subjects and sounds but comes from his own roots. His musical roots include Pop/Modern Rock, Blues, Gospel and Country.

PJ Ferguson returns to TheDavidBowersAwards with all new music and news of his and his band (Tennessee Strange). Merging classic rock influences with with early-70s rock and country-rock, they create an original sound and share what could become their 'signature song, Don't Tell Me What to Play.'

New to the show, Cammie Neely, takes center-stage like she owns it. This North Carolina native delivers intense lyrics from her own life experiences in a way that is all 'Just Cammie,' all the while maintaining her signature sound. She shares a preview track from her forthcoming feature album, "I Didn't Lie."
