Threads of Trauma, a poem that was born when I went to Boulder Crest Retreat Center in Blue Mont, Virginia to the healing retreat called, Artemis Rising. Here I learned that what had happened to me in the Navy was not my fault. One of the things we did at this retreat was learning to weave. All of the pain, flashbacks and nightmares, I have been weaving into something meaningful where I can share my truth and reach others with my truth and healing path.
One of the things that has been important in my healing is journaling, writing poetry, creating music by playing Gongs, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls, Shamanic Drums and hand pan. Now, I am sharing my poetry that I have written and published in 13 books. You can find my books on Amazon and at other fine book retailers.
