  • Back to Basics: Community
    Nov 19 2025

Welcome back To the Table. Thanks for joining us for this week’s conversation. We’re kicking off our spiritual practices series with a conversation about community. We were created to live in community with others – and this episode dives into so much about why and how we do that.

    Show Notes 🗒️

Hebrews 10:23-25 - Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Philippians 2:1-5 - So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.

  • Why We Don't
    Nov 12 2025

Welcome back To the Table. Thanks for joining us for this week’s conversation. Today we’re talking about all the things that might stop us from pursuing spiritual disciplines. We’ve added some encouragement for you (and ourselves) in there too, so come join us as we unpack just why we don’t (fill in the blank – pray, study, praise, etc.)

    Show Notes 🗒️

John 15: 4-5 - Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Galatians 5:22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Philippians 2:13 - for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

  • Lay the heavy things down...
    Oct 7 2025

Welcome back To the Table. Today, we have a special guest joining us to talk about seasons of brokenness and restoration. You’ll hear in this episode how prayer, scripture, and community help us get through difficult seasons. I’m sure you have similar experiences, and maybe even have seen the Lord restore some of those broken places. I hope you leave this episode feeling encouraged. Just like so many times before, even in seasons of brokenness, our hope is found in Jesus. You can count on him. He is always faithful, even when we feel hopeless.

Psalm 23 - The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil,
for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Proverbs 16:9 - The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

  • Brokenness & Restoration
    Sep 30 2025

Welcome back To the Table. Today we’re talking about seasons of brokenness and restoration. You probably don’t need very long to remember a season of brokenness and the heaviness that came with it. I hope it is just as easy to recall how those broken pieces began to heal. One by one, falling back into their place until you were whole again. Just like so many times before, even in seasons of brokenness, our hope is found in Jesus. You can count on him. He is always faithful, even when we feel hopeless.
