    Trash pickup service resumed in Chula Vista after some local union workers at republic services were honoring a strike in Boston. Mayor Todd Gloria unveiled his proposal to add paid parking at Balboa Park, which would create three tiers of paid parking and add parking meters on streets surrounding the park. New rules banning overnight parking for RV's across San Diego are now in effect.
