While there is life, there is hope, and the possibility still exists for each of us to abandon our ego-centred lives and replace them with lives dedicated to following God's will. This vital change of living will allow us to see the steps of the stairway that ascends to heaven, where Jesus will ascend with us, step by step. If we choose not to change our lives at all and continue down the path dictated by our personality, we will gradually lose the ability to recognize the lies that the world tells us daily, lies that encourage us to see its darkness as light for our paths and freedom for our lives, where it only awaits us the certain damnation of our souls.
