    Leonard Lake and Charles Ng silently terrorized and collected victims in the greater San Fransisco area for about two years. Leonard Lake was a criminal in every way, committing every type of criminal offense that one could think of. He was obsessed with the book “The Collector" by John Fowles. When Lake met Charles Ng, Charles was a fugitive on the run from the U.S. Government. To this day we still do not know how many people fell prey to this California Killer duo.

    On August 15th, 2013 a body was discovered by an electrical worker in a developing area called Lehigh Acres. Later it was learned that this was the body of 25 year old Kyle Byrtus. The victim had been tied and killed. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office just caught another homicide case. Kyle’s case remains unsolved to this day. The case appears to not have gone “cold” as detectives are still chasing a few leads. There was a lot of criminal activity in this area at the time. Some of this activity has provided information about Kyle’s case. SWFL Crime Stoppers are on the case. Love True Crime Garage!!!

Love the chemistry between the hosts, just a bunch of friends hanging out discussing crime. I listen to this podcast daily while jogging, I become so caught up in the cases I complete a workout without realizing it.
