In which Bethanie, Lindsey, and Samantha discuss Chapter 7 of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.

Chapter 7 Summary: “Nightmare”

At home, Bella tries to block out her thoughts with loud music and falls asleep. She dreams of Jacob turning into a wolf and attacking Edward. Disturbed, she researches vampires online and finds conflicting legends, but most agree they avoid sunlight. Only one mentions “good” vampires.

Walking in the woods, Bella concludes that Edward must be a vampire—but decides she doesn’t care. Feeling resolved, she finishes her English paper.

At school Monday, Mike asks her out, but she gently turns him down. She’s disappointed when the Cullens don’t show up at lunch. At home, she tries reading but keeps thinking of Edward. Lying in the sun, she briefly dozes and feels like someone is watching her.

The next day, still no Edward. Bella cheers up thinking about her upcoming shopping trip with Jessica and Angela.
