If you missed his past reports on Mayberry Filming Locations (TCNW #789 & #790), you really should go back and give each a watch. Yes, I said watch because while listening to his reports is great…it's even better to see the photos that he provided during his reports. This time, Codie is giving us information related to his finding the mystery filming location from The Andy Griffith Show episode "Andy's Rich Girlfriend." That's the one when Peggy McMillan shows up with a brand new T-bird. Andy learns she's the daughter of the "M" in R & M Grain Elevators. Andy struggles to fit in with the wealthy class. Finally realizing it's better to be himself. In that episode, Andy, Barney, Thelma Lou and Miss Peggy go to "Mom's Diner." Fan's never knew where "Mom's Diner" was located in the "real" world (i.e. the filming location), until now and thanks to Codie's research. Well, that's not quite true, the information was first published for fans who subscribe to "The Andy Griffith Show Ambassadors Magazine" published by Two Chairs contributor and author, Randy Turner. Since that time she has attended many events, Mayberry cruises and all in all enjoyed experiencing the fans of her dad and Mayberry. This is the first of as two episode series where we'll be able to hear from Dixie about family, the Mayberry fandom, her father, her mother and about herself. We start off hearing about her latest hobby then move into talking about attending Mayberry Days in 2015 for the first time.     Host: Allan Newsome Running time: 0:39:26 There are some amazing Mayberry events scheduled for 2026 that i think you'd really enjoy. I'll point out some of them which can be found on the iMayberry.com website's "Event Calendar." I certainly encourage you to try to attend one of the scheduled events. To give you an idea of what you might see when attending one of the larger events we're going to watch (yes, I think you should watch the YouTube version of this episode) a compilation of video clips from Mount Airy, N.C.'s 2025 Mayberry Days event. Specifically this is from the "Col. Tim's Talent Time" show that wraps up the Mayberry Days week each year. These clips feature the Mayberry tribute artists recreating moments from the episode "The Songfesters" (S4.E20). It features James Dodson as Andy, Terry Varvel as Barney, Chris Bauman as Gomer, and Allan Newsome (me) as Floyd. The choir itself features all the other tribute characters as well as several "fans" who were attending Col. Tim's. The events seen were done as what I call "in-betweens" with the final choir scene done as a featured act. And "in-between" is something done between the talent acts occurring during the show to keep the "Mayberry" feel of the event flowing among the singers, dancers and other acts of Col Tim's Talent Time. I hope you enjoy it and that it gives you an idea of what you're missing during these wonderful Mayberry events. A big thank you to Neil & Pat Coleman for the video of Col. Tim's! Over the years, Two Chairs No Waiting has created episodes to reflect on the past year and to see which episodes have been downloaded or viewed most during the previous year. This listings is a good way for new folks to see which of the 870 previous episodes of the podcast might be worth the effort to go and give a listen/watch. This list of the 10 top episodes going from the #10 most watched video episode all the way to the #1 most watched episode of 2025.     Host: Allan Newsome Running time: 1:01:29 It's Christmas time here in Mayberry and time for the annual Christmas episode. The Andy Griffith Show had only one episode centered around any holiday and that holiday was Christmas. Fans have watched that episode over and over seeing as Ben Weaver tries to get arrested so he can spend Christmas in jail with the Taylor's, the Muggins', and Miss Ellie. It always plucks on to our hearts when we see Ben singing outside that courthouse cell window. Since the podcast began, Two Chairs has tried to bring back the warm feeling from The Andy Griffith Show as we go through Mayberry related memories of Christmas time. We also try to make a new memory or two in the process. We have a special guest back again this year from over in Dodge City. His name is Festus Haggen and he has a really good story to tell about Santa. There's a story called "The Fife Before Christmas" by my friend Rik Roberts who played "Barney" to my "Floyd" in the Mayberry Man movie and Mayberry Man series. We have a favorite of mine by Charlie Monk called "Andy and Opie Christmas" that brings back memories of a small town Christmas that sure reminds me of Mayberry. We hear from Elinor Donahue about recording "Away in a Manger" with Andy then we hear her sing just that. We have a great song with lyrics written by Russell Estes called "A Mayberry Christmas" that does a wonderful job of taking us back to our hometown. For a bit more Christmas music, we'll play my 2022 Mayberry Christmas card featuring images from Mayberry Man the Series. And, if you stick around till the end, we'll have Miss Ellie and Andy sing an encore of "Away in a Manger." God bless you and I hope you have a very merry Christmas. If if you didn't play last week, you may want to go back and play along because this week you bring your point total forward into round 2. This episode we'll play Round 2 and the "final question" of the Mayberry Days Trivia Championship 2025. Round 2 has ten questions with each being worth 200 points. Incorrect answers are worth negative 200 points. You'll need to keep up with your score so you can add your round 1 and round 2 point totals together. The "Final Question" allows those with positive point totals to wager their points in an attempt to score the highest total. This years winner was a first time champion and the youngest Mayberry Trivia Champion ever, Lillie Lobb. Thank you to Kenneth Junkin (a.k.a.
