 Dr M Marcia-Elizabeth Thompson, Certified &
Licensed Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine,
specializing in the treatment of abuse trauma & addiction
recovery. Creator of “The Solution: Ascending Into Prosperity.”
She has been the single owner-operator of two boutique
acupuncture practices – one on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue,
the other in Rye, NY, treating a diverse range of
presentations between her New York City professional dance
world patient base and the families of Wall Street’s hedge
fund and venture capital elite.
She continues her work of optimal health and consciousness
cultivation, now based on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, where
she works virtually with patients seeking to recover from the
varied presentations associated with developmental trauma,
applying the Conscious Inquiry model of eastern philosophy,
somatic therapy, EMDR, and the Internal Family Systems
method.
truly integrated practitioner, Dr.Thompson is certified in the
application of EMDR, the only method clinically proven to
heal the physical symptoms and psychoemotional distress of
traumatic memory. In the application of her signature
method of recovery, she also merges theory and applications
of Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, and the
eastern philosophical methods in the cultivation of
consciousness.
She combines Taoist philosophy and Advaita Vedanta with
Chinese Medicine and contemporary psychotherapy
techniques to support her patients in recovering from
developmental, transgenerational, sexual, and racialized
trauma through the cultivation of authentic, ease-full
financial prosperity.
She is the creator of “The Solution: Ascending Into
Prosperity,” an eight-week program for comprehensive
CPTSD recovery that teaches women to rewire and rewrite
their prosperity code by resolving abandonment trauma as it
shows up in their money narrative.
More recently, In her local Mexican community, Dr.
Thompson created two pro-bono support groups in her
community for adults recovering from addiction and
developmental trauma. The first group: a 12-Step-recovery-
based model for English-speaking adult trauma
survivors. The second: a women's Spanish-language-only
group for survivors of family alcoholism, domestic violence,
and incest.
